About Us
Deep Blue at Kitty Knight is a restaurant and event venue located on a beautiful 18th century property in the heart of Galena, Maryland. We serve areas such as Middletown Delaware, Georgetown Maryland, Cecilton Maryland, Smyrna Delaware, Elkton Maryland, Chesapeake City, Maryland and beyond. We are proud to provide guests with a one-of-a-kind view overlooking of the Sassafras river. It is no surprise that Deep Blue attracts people from neighboring areas throughout Delaware, Maryland, and South Eastern Pennsylvania to take in these stunning views and delicious cuisine.
In addition to our restaurant and event spaces, the property also includes The Kitty Knight Inn. Our Inn is located located on the Chesapeake Wine Trail & the Chesapeake Country National Scenic Byway. This historic Inn offers guests 11 beautifully appointed guest rooms which have been renovated but also still keeps its historic charm.
We welcome guests from near and far to come and enjoy a meal, private event, or even a relaxing weekend getaway at our inn.

Our event packages have been thoughtfully planned down to the very last detail. We pride ourselves on premium service, delicious food with focus on fresh, local ingredients. We strive to make the planning process stress-free and allow guests to choose from our selection of pre-designed event packages. For guests who have special requests, they may create a custom package to meet their event needs.

The Tavern
The private Tavern can accommodate up to 40 seated guests which is perfect for smaller gatherings such as business meetings, birthday parties, and showers. This space is ideal for those who are looking for a more historical, rustic feel of the 18th century. Along with its older charm, this space also features a private entry, one smart TV, a working double sided-fireplace, and private access to a fully stocked bar.
The Parlor & Lemonade Porch
The Parlor is a semi-private is a newly renovated space. It can comfortably seat up to 20 guests at two large farm tables while the Lemonade Porch is able to accommodate 16, making it the perfect venue for intimate gatherings such as baby showers, small reunions, and family functions. The Parlor is outfitted with modern decor, two fireplaces, and an abundance of windows that allow natural light which creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. When guests are not seated, the Parlor provides ample room for mingling and socializing. Additionally, it offers direct access to our private covered porch and Parlor Bar.
The Main Dining Room
The Main Dining Room is our largest space to hold an event. It is perfect for those who are hosting large events such as weddings, graduation parties, birthday parties, and reunions. being recently renovated, It is outfitted with modern Eastern Shore decor and floor-to-ceiling windows to show off the gorgeous one-of-a-kind panoramic views that the Sassafras River and beautiful sunsets have to offer. The space has access to a fully stocked bar and dance floor. The Main Dining Room can accommodate 90 guests with the dance floor and 120 without.
